Invendia is a web-based, hosted solution. This means we provide both the hardware and software technology stack. We maintain them, ensure they are upgraded to current technology levels, and ensure security, performance, enhancements, etc. Below are some of Invendia's design features:
- Security and backup

- Invendia uses 128 bit SSL encryption, the same standards used for internet banking.
- Your company and the users whom you define are the only ones who have access to your information. At the user level you can define the access that each user or group of users gets access to, right down to the field level including view or edit access. Our privacy policy precludes us from using your data without your express written consent.
- Back-ups are performed at least once a day.

- Invendia allows the upload of data from a Microsoft Excel template directly to the server. The Invendia Integration Agent (IIA) has published data formats allowing integration from your data and systems to the Invendia server.
- Invendia supports integration to Salesforce.com, SAP, Microsoft Navision, and QuickBooks.
- You can also load information directly into the application through the web-browser.
- Scalability

- Invendia has been architected to be multi-threaded and to run over multiple application servers.
- Invendia has been scalability tested to perform well above 50 transactions per seconds.
- Performance

- Invendia runs across a number of application servers in our data center, and as such we have in excess of 99.99% up-time.
- Response time has averaged under three seconds per transaction inside our server. It should be noted that your network may cause more delays, but our clients report a real-world average response time of less than four seconds.
- Invendia can be run over a dial-up modem connection.
- Reporting

- Invendia offers many online reports that the user can personalize using filters.
- Reports can also be expored to Excel and XML on demand.
